| Leaving
Cusco and traveling Southeast we pass firstly through the village of Tipón
where we will visit the archeological site where the element of water is
worshipped. We then continue to the lake of Huacarpay and from there follow
the road towards Huambutio visiting Huancarani and Ninamarca. In Ninamarca
it is possible to visit the ancient burial chambers (chullpas) and then
continue onto Paucartambo, a very picturesque colonial village in the Mapacho
River basin. We then continue our journey to Tres Cruces where we will spend
the night.
The second Day we will continue to Pillcopata, firstly passing throught Pillahuata, Clouded Forest where we will see the Gallito de las Rocas bird and places such as Chontachaca, Patria y Pillcopata, where we will spend the night. The third day we will visit the surrounding attractions such as The Carmen farm property, with horse back rides and visits to the jungle, in the afternoon we will head back to Tres Cruces where we will spend the night. The forth day, we will get up early at 4:30 am. to assist the amazing sunrise of Tres Cruces, we will then head to Paucartambo and head back to Cusco passing trought the native community of Qollquepata, we will then get by the Sacred Valley arriving to Pisaq where we will visit the archaeological park and handicraft market. We finally get to Cusco. Skill
